The 535BK-1903 is their first knife to features their Battlewash handle finish, in addition to matching red accents on the thumb studs and barrel spacers. It's as if the knife is completely red but on top is a black coating that is starting to wear and allow the red to poke through. This is similar to Spyderco's Zome finish and it completely transforms the look of the brand new handle and it will only get better with age.
