Out of stock
Half Face Blades was founded by Andrew Arrabito, a retired Navy SEAL to meet the need for high-quality, “go to” knives and axes. Half Face Blades knives are designed with the distinction and ruggedness required for the work they are intended to do. Each knife is calculated to meet requirements gained by experience, by testing knives and axes, by using them over time at sea and in remote wildernesses.
This GEN 2 Disaster Folder by Half Face Blades features a Elite Black Cerakote Maganacut blade designed by Special Operators for easy carry and easy access in plate carrier or in low vis situations, for hard use and self defense. The blade is housed in a one piece slab of 6AL-4V Titanium, precision milled and designed for reliability and strength; .14" blade stock
Changes - tighter pocket clip and Maganacut steel
Please allow break in period for push button locking mechanism. The break in period will allow the button to become a smooth press over time. As the blade and button break in and the action gets tighter use gun oil to drip into the pivot. You can adjust the tightness by doing this. Over time with dirt and moisture build top from daily use and in your pocket use the oil accordingly
Body is monolithic, machined from a single billet and ensuring more rigidity. This also means less components are used, meaning less fail points.
Locking mechnism is adopted from the gen3 SHPOS, however with improved spring tension. Components are stainless steel and nitrade coated, meaning they will wear in over time as opposed to wearing out.
Dual, sealed roller bearings are pressed into the frame with the pivot pin captive within the blade, preventing blade wiggle and ensuring dirt won't interfere with the action of the blade
Pocket clip is reversible with custom opposing insert to eliminate exposed holes
Push button blade lock release has a break in period.
