The XM-18 3" , designed by Rick Hinderer, is renowned the world over as one of the best folding knives money can buy. Its contoured handle is held together with accessible hardware, using common Allen screws for the scale and even more common Phillips screws for the pocket clip, which can be oriented for tip-up or tip-down carry. Additional features include Hinderer's tri-way pivot system (which allows for Teflon washers, phosphor bronze washers, or ball bearings) and the Hinderer Lockbar Stabilizer (which prevents the lockbar from hyperextending). The piece is finished off with a lanyard hole so you can tie on your favorite bead or knot.
