Product Details

This antique hunter from the now primarily known maker J.A. Henckels hails from sometimes in the late 1950's. Featuring a full integral tang, bolster and blade all single piece forged from X50CRMOV15 Solingen steel that was than "Friodur" AKA - cryo treated for additional HRC / Hardness and edge retention. This example has slab indexed stag antler scales and a vintage but aftermarket sheath. Although it has been used throughout iits life it is a prime example of what made Germany a world renowned cutlery maker for hundreds of years.
