Jim made knives in Chugiak, AK for many years and became a well known name in the state for his now famous "Whitman Grind". A full custom coves grind with a wrap around ricasso. This specific, fully custom knife is his traditional skinner design. A full tanged blade with textured ricasso and the "Whitman Grind", made from stainless steel, ivory micarta scales and whale bone bolster. Overall a beautiful knife that shows what a true craftsman Jim was.
