Ted Dowell, long-time knifemaker, past Knifemakers’ Guild president and popularizer of the integral knife design, passed away in 2012. Ted was one of the acknowledged masters of the integral knife and was one of the founding members of the Knife Makers' Guild. Over his 42 year career, he made roughly 3,000 knives.
This Drop Point Hunter by Ted Dowell features a polish blade with .129" blade stock, .864" blade depth and full tapered tang construction and distal taper. The handle has Westinghouse ivory micarta scales with stainless pins. TMD marked on the escutcheon.
