In the first part of a two part series we go over the influences that the M.A.K. had on the creation of the Riot and how project "Mr. Skinner" morphed into the ultimate EDC survival and general bushcraft knife to come out of Alaska .

Riot by 3DK - Elmax Steel, Tumble Finish and Micarta Scales

The M.A.K. and Riot both are cut from the same original cloth so we highly recommend checking out the M.A.K. series of videos to get a better idea of the themes and design ideas that went into the Riot.

Dash Masters feels familiar to fans of precision platformers, but its cybernetic mascot, futuristic presentation, level names, and browser focused format give the game its identity as its own game.

I like how this piece traces the design evolution behind the Riot, showing how earlier concepts from the M.A.K. series influenced its development. The connection between design ideas, practical use, and bushcraft makes the story more interesting than a simple product description. It also reminds me of Melon Sandbox, a physics-based sandbox game where I can experiment with different objects, tools, and setups.

There is something surprisingly addictive about scrandle. I started with one round just to see how it worked, then found myself trying again because I wanted to improve my result.
