Schrade Walden Vintage Pilot 5" Fixed Survival Knife / Stacked Ribbed Leather / Grey Parkerized Steel ( Pre Owned )
Product Details

U.S. military pilot survival knife, 5" blade, 9 ¾" overall, officially designated "MIL-k-8662(AER)" and issued 1953-1957. The grip is constructed of knurled brown leather washers, with steel hand guard and peened-on pommel, and with red-brown Bakelite spacers at each end. The blade is fully Parkerized, and the reverse ricasso bears the maker's mark "Schrade-Walden N.Y. U.S.A.". Shows some slight wear to the grip, else very good to fine. The knife is housed in a light brown leather sheath, unmarked, reinforces with six rivets, the placement of which is indicative of military issue. The sheath also shows some minor wear from use, also very good to fine.

The knife pictured is of the knife you will receive. This was part of an estate. Does not include a box or paperwork
